Giulia beat Charlotte Flair and Zelina Vega in a Triple Threat match on SmackDown to qualify for the Women’s Money in the Bank match. This marked her first major appearance on the blue brand after signing with it last week.
Giulia, Flair, and Vega put on a compelling match on SmackDown and put all on the line a bid to qualify for the Money in the Bank match. ‘The Queen’ relied on her experience to dominate her younger opponents.
However, Zelina and Giulia soon showed that they meant business. Towards the end, Flair put Vega in a figure-4-leglock . This gave Giuila an opportunity to attack the veteran’s surgically repaired knee. She then nailed Zega with a Northern Lights Bomb and got the win.
Giulia, who not too long ago main-evented Raw when she teamed up with Roxanne Perez to take on Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky, is the fourth women to qualify for the marquee match. Alexa Bliss was the first star to earn the honour. Perez and ‘Mami’ punched their ticket for the big match on Raw. The eagerly-awaited contest's winner will get the opportunity to challenge for the Women’s Championship or the World title anytime they want.
